Universal Kempo-Karate (RAC)

Fourth Degree Assistant Chief Instructor Daniel McRae offers Chinese Kemo Karate.

Chinese Kempo Karate is a combination of self-defense and awareness of the vital areas of the human body which, in a time of civil unrest and assaults upon individuals, is of importance. Kempo teaches one to deal instantly and effectively if the situation should arise.

It makes one physically fit by increasing one's endurance, strength, muscle tone, and by making one mentally alert. Chinese Kempo Karate is the principal of courage. Through our system one develops self-esteem, a positive attitude, and confidence in being able to protect oneself, thus developing courage.

Children in Kempo

Karate Children play a significant role in the martial arts. The Universal Kempo Karate Schools Association acknowledges this, and has gone to great measures to develop its children's curriculum, and its instructors have taught and trained thousands of children in Chinese Kempo Karate. The children take up Kempo Karate for fun, sports and self-defense.

In addition, discipline is emphasized to all children. They are taught respect for themselves and others, and also to become ladies and gentlemen in and out of training class. Parents are always welcome and are encouraged to observe the training classes. In this aspect, we feel confident the parents will fully appreciate the discipline and character that Chinese Kempo Karate instills into their children.

Join Daniel at the RAC on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following times:

  • Peewee — 6-6:30 p.m.
  • Youth — 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Adult — noon, 1 p.m. and 7:45-8:45 p.m.
