Youth Services
Roanoke Athletic Club | Botetourt Athletic Club
Nursery and Youth Center services are available to parents on an individual or family membership. We realize when you work out you want the kids to be safe and comfortable. That’s why we have a variety of childcare options for ages 8 weeks to 14 years. Children are eligible to participate in these areas up to two hours every day.

We'll care for your baby, beginning at 8 weeks old, in our Infant Room, a complimentary service open seven days a week. The Infant room includes a jungle mural, rocking chair, crib, swings, bouncer chairs and age appropriate toys. Our Nursery is also a complimentary childcare center open seven days a week for toddler aged children through children 7 years old. It is professionally supervised with ongoing activities.
Playland
Our Playland is for children 3 to 10 years old who are completely potty-trained. It houses a curving tunnel, slide and ball pit filled with multi-colored balls.
Playland hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Youth Center
Our Youth Center, available with an individual or family membership, is a special place just for older kids 7 to 14 years. It includes a gymnasium, cardiovascular equipment, a television, computer workstations, a variety of board games, Play Station 2, and a Wii.
Youth Center hours*:
- Monday – Friday: 3 - 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
* The Youth Center will open at 8 a.m. on weekdays when the Roanoke County Schools are closed.
Botetourt Athletic Club
Nursery
Our Nursery is a complimentary childcare center open seven days a week for children 8 weeks through 5 years. It is professionally supervised with ongoing activities.

- Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Youth Center
Our Youth Services Center is a special place just for kids 6 to 14 years. It includes cardiovascular equipment, a television, computer workstations and video games.

- Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
BAC PAC Program
The BAC PAC Program is specially designed for ages 11-14 on a family membership. After participating in an informational meeting and equipment orientation, these younger members become BAC PAC members. This program allows our teens to have a little more freedom to join the workout fun.
